Structures: Vail-Hybrid

Combination Greenhouse & Indoor Grow

Hybrid Greenhouses

Innovative features including insulated metal sidewalls and diffused polycarbonate roof coverings to support better cannabis cultivation by enhancing light deprivation and additional security.

Provides for more efficient energy usage by keeping the greenhouse closed during specific times of the year and redistributes heating/cooling in peak times of demand:

  • Vail structures feature traditional peak style design, which is ideal for cultivation
  • Standard 6/12 roof pitch allows for maximum snow shed and enhances interior condensate control
  • Adaptable to many roof and sidewall coverings, styles of ventilation, heating and cooling systems, environmental controls, irrigation/fertilization and shade systems to improve the growing environment
  • Shade curtains for light deprivation techniques
  • Integrated dehumidification systems are available for night use only or in sealed greenhouses
  • Benching systems utilize space more efficiently and increase crop yields resulting in more growing efficiency
  • Radiant floor or under bench heating can warm plants at the root zone for stronger growth, which is especially important in colder climates
  • Insulated metal side/end walls assist with light deprivation, provide extra heat retention, and increase security protection
  • Vails can be designed by Nexus engineers to meet regional snow and wind loads, heating, cooling, and humidity requirements

Designs That Save Money

  • Vail trusses are factory-welded using galvanized steel for dimension consistency and ease of site construction
  • With one-piece trusses, greenhouses consist of fewer parts and construction is much faster with reduced costs
  • Wide-span trusses provide additional crop space, minimize shadowing, and maximize production automation opportunities
  • Supports overhead equipment

Designs for Needed Flexibility

  • Taller gutter heights allow for sufficient clearance with any piece of mechanical equipment
  • Vail designs gutter-connect to headhouses or processing buildings with metal decking and insulation
  • Separate climate zones can be designed with interior partitian walls

Vail Features

  • Standard Sizes:
    • Widths: 24', 30', 36', 41'6", 42' (non-standard widths can be designed)
    • Sidewall Height: 12' - 16'
    • Bay Spacing: 10', 12'
  • High-clearance trusses are available for added interior clearance
  • Unique high-strength column caps and gutter saddles
  • Aluminum flashings and extrusions
  • Competitively-priced
